Hooray! Yiana Writer is now available for download.

Now we support YAML front matter! Toggle it on and off in the "Insert" menu.

Now we support more syntaxes!

• Task lists: type [ ] or [x], and hit Space to convert a list item to a task.
• Math blocks: type $$ and hit Enter to create a math block.
• Math expression: wrap texts with $ to convert the content to a math expression.

When saving a new file, the default file name is inferred from the first heading.

We re-design the language selection menu in code blocks.

Is it too early to rewrite something that you released a few weeks ago? Maybe, but at least now you select languages faster than before.

Now you can see the heading outline of the current file! You can enable it in the Settings.

In addition to that, here are a few improvements you might want to know:

• Experimental syntax highlighting support for Mermaid diagrams.

• Consolidated Copy/Paste menus, so separate commands for Markdown format are no longer needed.

• Code blocks now generate HTML snippets that conform to GFM.
